"I have black hair"

This is an art work of one of my student. We have been learning, "All about myself" and J drew a self portrait. He emphasized on the color of his hair, which was different than his friends. I like this art work because it shows children's understanding of differences and appreciating who we are as an individual. We all are different yet similar in many ways. Colors of our skin, hair, eyes do not matter...and almost four years old J realizes it too...That's why I love this art work...even though I like all types of art works...
